Amaechi Takes ADC South-South Mobilisation to Warri, Engages Delta Stakeholders

The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has taken the party’s South-South mobilisation to Delta State, engaging party leaders, stakeholders and supporters in the Warri area as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.

Amaechi was in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, on Wednesday, October 7, where he addressed an ADC town hall meeting organised as part of the party’s grassroots engagement across the South-South region. He was received by Delta ADC leaders and supporters, including the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru.

At the meeting, he emphasised the need for stronger grassroots mobilisation and greater participation by young Nigerians in the political process. He urged party members and stakeholders to take the ADC campaign into communities across Delta, while expressing his readiness to personally participate in mobilisation efforts across the Niger Delta.

He also used the engagement to highlight the economic difficulties facing Nigerian households. He further called on Nigerians to reject corruption, tribalism and religious divisions in making electoral choices, urging citizens to vote according to their conscience and to take a more active interest in determining the country’s political future.

His Delta engagement forms part of the ADC’s broader preparations for the 2027 elections.
