Atiku Abubakar - ADC Presidential Candidate

Atiku Abubakar Launches Ask AA Portal to Engage Directly with Nigerians-askatiku.ng

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is set to launch Ask AA, a technology-driven citizen-engagement platform designed to give Nigerians direct access to him on issues affecting the country. The link to this portal is askatiku.ng.

The portal (askatiku.ng) will go live at 8:30 p.m. today,October 15, 2026, providing a free platform for citizens to ask questions about Atiku’s record in public service, policy proposals and vision for Nigeria.

Through Ask AA, Nigerians can engage with the ADC presidential candidate on key issues, including the economy, national security, technology, job creation and the rising cost of living. Atiku will personally respond to questions, with support from his media team.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between political leadership and citizens by promoting transparency, accountability and open dialogue. To extend access to communities without internet connectivity, the campaign also plans to introduce a radio interface.

Announcing the initiative, Atiku said the platform reflects his belief that leadership should be a two-way conversation between leaders and the people.

He explained that Ask AA was created to encourage Nigerians to question his economic record, scrutinise his policy proposals and contribute ideas for national development. He also disclosed that he would personally call selected participants who provide their contact details to hear first-hand about their experiences and concerns.

Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication for the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, said the initiative was designed to bring Atiku closer to the electorate through a practical, problem-solving platform.

Shaibu added that Ask AA demonstrates Atiku’s commitment to harnessing modern technology to make governance more efficient, secure and responsive to citizens’ needs.

By opening a direct channel for questions, feedback and policy discussions, Ask AA seeks to encourage greater citizen participation in conversations about Nigeria’s future.

Nigerians will be able to use the platform to seek clarification on Atiku’s policy positions, offer constructive criticism and share recommendations on the country’s most pressing challenges.

As Atiku puts it, transparent, technology-driven governance begins with listening to citizens today.

Sir, Nigerians have heard many promises from politicians for decades. If you become President in 2027, what three specific things will you personally guarantee Nigerians will see within your first 12 months, and what should Nigerians do if you fail to deliver those promises? Please give measurable targets, not general political promises.

SUBJECT: MY TWO MAJOR CONCERNS ABOUT BORNO STATE, YOUTH RIGHTS, INSECURITY, AND UNEMPLOYMENT IN NIGERIA Dear Sir, I am writing to present two major concerns affecting the people of Borno State and Nigerian youths in general. I hope that, if you are elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you will consider these issues and take practical steps to address them. 1. Insecurity, Political Freedom, and the Rights of Youths in Borno State Sir, Borno State has suffered from insecurity and the Boko Haram insurgency for approximately 15–18 years. This prolonged crisis has affected our education, businesses, employment opportunities, and the future of our young people. Many youths have been displaced, while others have been forced to leave their communities in search of safety and better opportunities. Beyond insecurity, many young people are concerned about political freedom and the protection of their fundamental human rights. We want to live in a society where citizens can express their opinions, support the political party of their choice, criticize government policies peacefully, and demand accountability without fear of intimidation or unfair treatment. Sir, our concern is that some young people feel unsafe expressing political opinions that differ from those of the ruling party. We believe that democracy should protect every citizen, regardless of their political affiliation. My question to you is: What specific measures will you take to ensure that the government of Borno State respects the constitutional rights of its citizens, protects freedom of expression, and allows young people to participate freely in politics? What is your plan to restore security, rebuild affected communities, and create meaningful opportunities for the millions of young people whose lives have been affected by this prolonged crisis? We are human beings with dignity, rights, and aspirations. We deserve a government that listens to us, protects us, and gives us the freedom to participate in shaping our future. 2. Unemployment Among Graduates and Your Plans for Nigerian Youths My second concern is the growing unemployment problem among educated Nigerian youths. Sir, many young Nigerians spend over 20 years pursuing primary, secondary, and tertiary education. Some graduate with bachelor's degrees, while others obtain master's degrees and additional qualifications. Unfortunately, many of them remain unemployed despite their hard work and sacrifices. This situation creates frustration, poverty, hopelessness, and economic hardship for individuals and their families. When educated young people cannot find decent work or opportunities to use their skills, the country loses valuable human resources that could contribute to national development. I am also concerned that poverty, exclusion, and a lack of legitimate opportunities can make some vulnerable young people more susceptible to recruitment by criminal and extremist groups. Although unemployment is not the only cause of insecurity, addressing it should be an important part of our national security strategy. Sir, I am currently a university student. By the time your administration completes its tenure, I hope to have graduated and joined the millions of Nigerian graduates seeking employment and a meaningful future. My questions to you are: What concrete plans do you have for university students, fresh graduates, and the millions of educated youths who are currently unemployed? Will your administration establish transparent and sustainable employment programmes, support entrepreneurship and small businesses, promote technology and innovation, and ensure that recruitment into government jobs is based on merit rather than political connections? We do not want promises that end after elections. We want policies that create measurable results, fair opportunities, and a future in which education leads to productive work and national service. My Final Appeal Sir, Nigeria has talented, intelligent, and hardworking young people. We are willing to contribute to the development of our country, but we need security, equal opportunities, responsible leadership, and an economy that allows us to succeed through honest work. I respectfully ask you to explain what you will do differently to protect our rights in Borno State, address the insecurity that has affected our communities, and provide realistic employment opportunities for educated Nigerian youths. Please remember that the future of Nigeria depends greatly on how we treat our young people today. We do not merely want to survive in our own country; we want the opportunity to live safely, work honestly, express ourselves freely, and contribute to its progress. Our votes should bring meaningful change, and our future should not be forgotten after elections. Thank you for giving citizens the opportunity to voice their concerns. I sincerely hope these questions will receive serious consideration and practical answers. Yours faithfully, A Concerned Nigerian Youth and University Student Borno State, Nigeria

Mr president take note of this Security, power, and good roads** are three foundational pillars for any country's development. Without them, businesses can't thrive, jobs can't be created, and citizens can't reach their full potential. Let me break down why these three matter so much and how they connect to employment and self-reliance: **1. Power (Electricity)** - When there's steady electricity, small businesses like welding shops, tailoring, barbering, food processing, and printing can operate longer hours and produce more. - Manufacturers can run machines, cold storage can preserve goods, and digital businesses can function. - This directly translates to **massive employment** and **self-employment** opportunities — exactly as you said, "our products will wake up again." **2. Security** - Without safety, investors won't come, markets won't operate freely, and people can't move around to work or trade. - Security enables both local and foreign investment, which creates jobs. **3. Good Roads** - Roads connect farms to markets, workers to workplaces, and goods to consumers. - Bad roads increase costs and kill small businesses. Good roads reduce transport costs and open up rural areas to economic activity. So how do intend to fix it Mr president Because am campaigning you sir Phone number 08167478777

Dear Father Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, You invited Nigerians to ask you about the problems facing our country, and I appreciate your willingness to hear from citizens. Sir, I would like to draw your attention to one of Nigeria's most pressing challenges: poverty and the rising cost of living. Today, many Nigerian families work hard but still struggle to afford food, pay rent, support their children's education, and meet their basic needs like me. I always see you as my father and my inspiration. Our young people have ideas and energy, yet many lack the opportunities and resources to turn their potential into productive businesses. Sir, I believe we need more than conversations about poverty. We need practical ideas that can create economic opportunities, support small businesses, generate employment, and help ordinary Nigerians become financially independent. I have a business and development idea that I would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to discuss with you. My interest is in exploring practical ways to address the economic difficulties facing Nigerians and contribute to a future where more families can earn a decent living. I am not approaching you merely to complain about the situation. I want an opportunity to share an idea and discuss how it might be developed into something useful for our people. If you or a member of your team could grant me a brief conversation, I would be grateful for the opportunity to explain my proposal. Sir, what if one meaningful conversation could open the door to an idea capable of making a difference in people's lives? I respectfully hope this message reaches you. Thank you for giving Nigerians the opportunity to speak. May Allah help and Protect you sir. Thank you so much.

#AskAA Greetings Your Excellency, our incoming President. Between 2023 and 2024 alone, over 8 million Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises closed down in Nigeria due to harsh economic policies of the Bola Tinubu Government. Challenges of poor power supply, multiple taxation, high cost of production, transportation and storage, as well as inadequate sources of capital. How will you ensure that favorable policies are put in place for SMEs to grow and create jobs beyond just kuli-kuli and Akara businesses? Since the Vice-President is the Chair of the National Council on SMEs, H.E., Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi can also chip in his thoughts on this. Warm regards, Oryiman writes from Gboko, Benue State. 07037163409

To His Excellency, Firstly, let me welcome the idea behind the creation of this channel. This will not only be a channel to ask you questions or challenge your record, as many of us have already done. We have come to the conclusion that you are the best candidate to rescue Nigeria at this critical time. Beyond asking questions, we intend to use this platform to make recommendations and draw your attention to any gaps that could affect your victory in our respective constituencies. As you embrace technology to communicate your message to Nigerians, we must not abandon physical mobilisation and leave the grassroots to the APC alone. I therefore appeal to Your Excellency to support our #TinubuMustGo Movement in Ondo State, which I currently lead. Providing us with a vehicle, a sound system, and financial support for our mobilisation will go a long way in helping us take your vision and plans to the grassroots. We have invested our time and limited resources in this struggle, but our efforts alone are not enough. We have a country to rescue, and for us, this journey will continue until victory is achieved. Your Excellency, we believe we have even more to lose than you in this election. Insha Allah, victory shall be ours. Furthermore, Sir, I urge you to reach out directly to your old political associates who are contesting on the platforms of opposition parties, including the PDP. I believe that engaging them personally could open new doors for understanding, cooperation, and a stronger opposition coalition. Alternatively, Your Excellency could constitute a high-profile, confidential committee to be known as the Inter-Party Collaboration Committee, mandated to engage these political associates on your behalf, explore areas of mutual interest, and present its findings and recommendations for your consideration and action. A deliberate effort in this direction could broaden our political reach, strengthen cooperation across party lines, and boost our chances of victory. Finally, I wish to draw your attention to the lack of visible campaign activities by ADC candidates in Ondo South Senatorial District. As of now, we hardly see their banners or posters around, let alone yours. Across the six local government areas that make up Ondo South Senatorial District, your posters and banners are practically nowhere to be found. Sir, with the necessary resources and our committed foot soldiers across the state, we can effectively address this gap, strengthen our grassroots presence, and ensure that your message reaches every community. We are ready to work, mobilise, and deliver. All we need is the necessary support to maximise our efforts. Yours faithfully, ODODO Oluwafemi Eniola 07062361523 Coordinator, #TinubuMustGo Movement, Ondo State

Message to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar: Insecurity, Farmers' Hardship, High Cost of Living, Electricity, and Education Subject: The Major Challenges Facing Nigeria and the Need for Urgent Solutions Dear Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, I am writing to express my concerns about some of the major challenges facing Nigeria today. These include insecurity, the suffering of farmers, the high cost of living, inadequate electricity supply, and the need to improve our education system. 1. Insecurity in Nigeria Insecurity remains a serious problem in many parts of Nigeria. Kidnappings, banditry, and attacks on communities have caused fear among citizens. Many farmers are afraid to go to their farms because of security threats. I urge you to support practical solutions that will strengthen our security agencies, protect rural communities, and ensure that Nigerians can live and work in peace. 2. The Suffering of Farmers Farmers face many difficulties, including insecurity, the high cost of fertilisers, expensive farming equipment, and insufficient government support. When farmers cannot produce enough food, food prices increase, making life more difficult for ordinary Nigerians. I urge you to support farmers through affordable agricultural inputs, access to loans, modern farming equipment, irrigation, and better security on farmlands. 3. The High Cost of Living Many Nigerian families struggle to afford food, transportation, school fees, and healthcare. The rising cost of living has placed a heavy burden on ordinary citizens, especially low-income families. I encourage you to propose practical economic policies that will help control inflation, create jobs, support small businesses, and improve the purchasing power of Nigerians. 4. Inadequate Electricity Supply Unreliable electricity supply is another major problem affecting Nigeria. Homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses suffer from frequent power outages. Many small businesses spend large amounts of money on fuel to operate generators. This increases their operating costs and makes goods and services more expensive. I urge you to explain your plans for improving electricity generation and distribution, expanding access to reliable power, supporting renewable energy, and ensuring that Nigerians receive better electricity services. Nigeria needs a reliable electricity system that will support industries, create employment, improve education, and promote economic growth. 5. Improving Education in Nigeria Education is the foundation of national development. Unfortunately, many Nigerian students face challenges such as inadequate classrooms, a shortage of qualified teachers, insufficient learning materials, and high education costs. In some communities, children cannot attend school because of poverty and insecurity. This threatens their future and the development of our country. I urge you to support policies that will improve public schools, recruit and train qualified teachers, provide learning materials, renovate classrooms, and make quality education accessible to children from poor families. The government should also invest in technical and vocational education so that young people can acquire practical skills and become self-reliant. My Appeal to You Dear Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria has enormous human and natural resources, yet millions of citizens continue to face serious difficulties. I believe that improving security, supporting farmers, reducing the burden of the high cost of living, providing reliable electricity, and improving education should be important national priorities. I respectfully ask you to explain the specific policies you would implement to address these problems and how you would ensure that they benefit ordinary Nigerians, particularly young people, farmers, students, and low-income families. Nigerians need practical solutions, accountable leadership, and policies that improve their daily lives. Thank you for providing an opportunity for citizens to express their concerns and contribute ideas towards building a better Nigeria. Yours faithfully, A Concerned Nigerian Citizen Azare, Bauchi State, Nigeria.

To His Excellency:Alh Atiku Abubakar. a leader Seeking to Shape the Destiny of Our Nation, Nigeria stands at a defining moment. Insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment, pressure on healthcare and education, and the demands of a rapidly changing digital world require leadership guided by vision, integrity, and accountability. Wallahi all i want is for a Nigeria where every life is protected, every child has access to quality education, healthcare is affordable, young people have opportunities to prosper, and technology becomes a tool for national development rather than a privilege for a few. As you seek the nation's highest office, I respectfully ask: What lessons has your past taught you, what truly motivates your ambition, and what measurable commitments will define your leadership Baba Waziri ? How will you ensure that public resources serve the people and that citizens can hold your administration accountable? Your patience in waiting for this moment should be matched by patience in listening, courage in making difficult decisions, and humility in serving the people. Nigeria needs more than a change of leadership; it needs a lasting change in how leadership serves humanity. I envision a country where citizens understand their worth, institutions work for everyone, and the next generation inherits opportunity instead of hopelessness. Let us compete not in deception, division, or personal ambition, but in integrity, compassion, competence, and the determination to become better human beings. History should remember our leaders not simply for the power they acquired, but for the lives they improved and the future they secured. Respectfully, Ahmad Muhammad Sanusi Advocating a safer, healthier, educated, and digitally empowered Nigeria. +2349066427413 ahmadmsunusi865@gmail.com

If you become President of Nigeria, what three concrete actions will you take within your first 100 days to reduce the cost of living, create jobs for unemployed youths, and provide affordable funding for small businesses? Nigerians are tired of promises. We need policies that deliver measurable results. How will your administration ensure that ordinary Nigerians, not just wealthy individuals and politically connected people, benefit directly from your economic policies? My central question is this Will your government measure success by the roads and bridges it builds, or by how many Nigerians escape poverty, find decent jobs, access quality education and healthcare, and build sustainable businesses? What specific, measurable commitments can Nigerians hold you accountable for? Thank you, Your Excellency. Mubarak Bala Garkuwa Gombe State, Nigeria

Your Excellency, Sir, Having sought the Nigerian presidency several times and presented Nigerians with ambitious economic promises, including your 2023 commitment to double Nigeria’s GDP to approximately $900 billion by 2030, what specific, measurable commitments are you prepared to make to Nigerians in 2027, and what independent accountability mechanism will you establish to publish your progress regularly and hold your administration accountable if those commitments are not achieved? In particular, what guarantee can you give young Nigerians that your ambition to lead Nigeria will translate into measurable improvements in employment, purchasing power, and economic opportunity within your first four years in office? Your Excellency Atiku Abubakar, My name is Hon. Usman Dan Malam, National Chairman of the Nigeria Youth Political Awareness Organisation (NYPAO). My question is: If elected President of Nigeria in 2027, what specific, measurable and time-bound plans will you implement within your first 100 days to address youth unemployment, insecurity and the rising cost of living? How will Nigerian youths independently monitor and hold your administration accountable for delivering on these promises? Nigerian youths need practical solutions, not just political promises. Thank you, Your Excellency.

My question to His Excellency Atiku Abubakar: As a young Nigerian entrepreneur, I want to build a successful business and create employment opportunities for others. However, the high cost of goods, electricity, transportation, and limited access to capital make it difficult for small businesses to grow. If you become President of Nigeria in 2027, what specific policies will you implement within your first two years to support small business owners, provide affordable loans to young entrepreneurs, and create jobs? How will you ensure that ordinary Nigerians, especially those in rural communities, benefit from these policies?

Northern Nigeria is the powerhouse of the Nigeria's agricultural sector, featuring diverse agro-ecological zones and yet the same zone carries more poverty than prosperity. Northern Nigeria stand a chance to be one of the wealthiest zone in west Africa, this zone has the ability and capacity to eradicate poverty faster than China did. THROUGH AGRICULTURAL VALUE ADDITION. Example: 1. SOKOTO STATE: has the capacity to produce enough onions and garlic for Nigeria's domestic use and still exports to other countries, Onion and garlic factory has to be created in Sokoto State, to be able to produce:- Onions paste, dehydrated onion (flakes and powder) and Onion Oil, Value Addition to Onion product reduces the weight and volume of the harvest by up to 80%, making shipping incredibly cheap, It can last for years in airtight packaging without spoiling. The same with Garlic as garlic paste, dehydrated garlic (flakes and powder) and garlic oil. 2. KANO STATE: specializes in groundnut, vegetables and grains production so why not create a factory in Kano State that produces groundnut oil, modern kuli kuli, tomato paste and grains powder, etc. 3. KADUNA STATE: kaduna specializes in ginger, soybeans, maize and cotton production, a ginger factory can produces Dried split ginger, ginger oil and ginger powder, Soybeans can be utilize into chicken feeds, fish feeds and for human (babies and children) consumption, etc. For cotton, there are multiple States in northern Nigeria that can produces cotton, so why not create CLOTHS factory in the northern part of Nigeria for domestic use and export to other countries. This is just three (3) state example, but every single state in the north has the capacity to remove every single poor citizen from poverty, we have the product, energized youth/population and market of our own. I only explained crops/farm products, while we still have other agricultural sectors to invest such as Cat-fish, chicken, rabbit, cattle rearing, etc. Talkless of metallurgical purification: to add value to any metal found in Nigeria before export and the rest of minerals found within the country. All of these cannot be achieve without proper security and if achieve under baba atiku's administration through public private partnerships, millions of jobs will be created and baba atiku will be the greatest president Nigeria ever had.

.🇳🇬 MY MESSAGE TO ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR — #AskAA Topic: Injustice, Insecurity, and the Suffering of Ordinary Nigerians Your Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, My name is Audu Haruna Aiso, and I am from Bade Local Government Area, Yobe State, Nigeria. I am speaking not only as a young Nigerian, but also as someone whose life has been deeply affected by injustice and the difficult realities facing ordinary citizens in our country. While working at a plastic manufacturing company in Kano State, I suffered a serious workplace accident involving a machine. The accident permanently changed my life, leaving me with only two fingers on my right hand. Since then, earning a living, supporting myself, and planning for my future have become extremely difficult. My struggle to obtain justice through the legal system has also shown me how challenging it can be for an ordinary citizen to fight for his rights, especially when financial resources are limited. Your Excellency, my first question is this: If you become President of Nigeria, what concrete policies will you introduce to ensure that workers who suffer permanent disabilities in workplace accidents receive justice, fair compensation, medical support, and opportunities to rebuild their lives? Beyond my personal experience, I am deeply concerned about the worsening insecurity affecting Nigeria, particularly the North-East. Many communities continue to live in fear, farmers face difficulties accessing their farmlands, businesses are disrupted, and families struggle to live in peace. As a son of Yobe State, I want to know what practical measures you would take to protect lives and property, strengthen intelligence gathering, support our security personnel, and ensure that vulnerable communities are not abandoned. Furthermore, Nigerian youths are struggling with unemployment, poverty, and a lack of opportunities. Many rural communities still lack adequate roads, healthcare facilities, schools, and other essential infrastructure. My second question is this: What specific actions would you take within your first 100 days in office to address insecurity, create employment opportunities for young Nigerians, and guarantee justice and equal opportunities for people living with disabilities? Nigeria needs more than political promises. We need practical solutions, measurable results, accountability, and leadership that understands the suffering of ordinary citizens. Behind every statistic is a human being. Behind every case of injustice is someone whose life has been affected. And behind every community suffering from insecurity are families praying for peace and hoping for a better future. Your Excellency, I hope you will address these concerns because Nigerians deserve to live in a country where their lives are protected, their rights are respected, and their dignity is upheld. Thank you for providing Nigerians with this opportunity to ask questions directly. Audu Haruna Aiso Bade Local Government Area, Yobe State, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

This is a great step towards strengthening your relationship with Nigerian youths. Sir, many have believed in you for a long time till date, that is why youths with vision always steak to A.A as a choice. Mine are solely questions about INDUSTRIALIZATION AND THE POWER SECTOR. These are two important sectors that must work hand in hand in all ramifications. Your Excellency, what step will you take towards making sure that electricity becomes uninterrupted in the North (to be specific) and the country in general, and the establishment of factories that produces. And a total shift of the Northern region from a Consumer Base Region to Production Base Region. Thus, my proposal and a Blueprint for that is ready and I will be glad to present if given the chance.

I am Abba Kabiru from Gusau, Zamfara State. > > I want to complain about two major problems: Our youth and insecurity. Our youth have no jobs and no future, and our people cannot sleep because of banditry and kidnapping in Zamfara. Farmers cannot go to farm, children cannot go to school. > > I pray for Atiku Abubakar and his family. May Allah grant him good health and wisdom. May Allah give him victory in 2027 so that he can bring security, jobs and peace for our youth and for all Nigerians. May Allah protect Zamfara and Nigeria.

Your Excellency, Nigerian youths are tired of being described as the leaders of tomorrow while struggling to survive today. If elected in 2027, what binding targets will you set for youth employment, vocational skills and access to capital for young entrepreneurs within your first two years? How will young Nigerians independently verify your progress, rather than relying on campaign promises?
