Atiku Abubakar Launches Ask AA Portal to Engage Directly with Nigerians

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is set to launch Ask AA, a technology-driven citizen-engagement platform designed to give Nigerians direct access to him on issues affecting the country.

The portal will go live at 8:30 p.m. today,October 15, 2026, providing a free platform for citizens to ask questions about Atiku’s record in public service, policy proposals and vision for Nigeria.

Through Ask AA, Nigerians can engage with the ADC presidential candidate on key issues, including the economy, national security, technology, job creation and the rising cost of living. Atiku will personally respond to questions, with support from his media team.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between political leadership and citizens by promoting transparency, accountability and open dialogue. To extend access to communities without internet connectivity, the campaign also plans to introduce a radio interface.

Announcing the initiative, Atiku said the platform reflects his belief that leadership should be a two-way conversation between leaders and the people.

He explained that Ask AA was created to encourage Nigerians to question his economic record, scrutinise his policy proposals and contribute ideas for national development. He also disclosed that he would personally call selected participants who provide their contact details to hear first-hand about their experiences and concerns.

Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication for the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, said the initiative was designed to bring Atiku closer to the electorate through a practical, problem-solving platform.

Shaibu added that Ask AA demonstrates Atiku’s commitment to harnessing modern technology to make governance more efficient, secure and responsive to citizens’ needs.

By opening a direct channel for questions, feedback and policy discussions, Ask AA seeks to encourage greater citizen participation in conversations about Nigeria’s future.

Nigerians will be able to use the platform to seek clarification on Atiku’s policy positions, offer constructive criticism and share recommendations on the country’s most pressing challenges.

As Atiku puts it, transparent, technology-driven governance begins with listening to citizens today.

Your Excellency, Nigerian youths are tired of being described as the leaders of tomorrow while struggling to survive today. If elected in 2027, what binding targets will you set for youth employment, vocational skills and access to capital for young entrepreneurs within your first two years? How will young Nigerians independently verify your progress, rather than relying on campaign promises?
